Blood On Us

"Let His blood be on us and on our children" (Matthew 27:25). Let His blood be upon us.

That was the cry of a crowd who wanted a crucifixion. Who in ignorance were prophets speaking salvation over generations.

Jesus was not a victim. He came for His blood to be upon them; upon Jewish people and their children, upon nation after nation.

He breathed His last by His own authority and rose again to seal His work.

Out of darkness He became our righteousness. Thank you Jesus that Your blood is upon us.
