Jesus won't tell you He loves you and then change His mind, for He "is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should change His mind" (Numbers 23:19).
He speaks and acts. He promises and fulfills. So be comforted in this:
God is not a shifting shadow (James 1:17).
