All of humanity is in a great conversation; a conversation with a Lion and a Liar.
We are adding words and taking words in. We are either listening to our Author or the Killer.
We are a vessel for one or the other.
This conversation is a war. I sat across from Fear at a table and bought what he sold me. I ate with the Liar and agreed with what was trying to steal my life.
But the Lion was fierce in His fight for me. He saved my eternal life and now He is saving my life here. He's teaching me to eat with Him alone, to sign my name on the Words He spoke, the Words that quickened my spirit.
And now I see how deep this goes, how strong bonds can be. We have to agree with our Author to break a covenant with the Killer.
And it's always our choice: the Lion or the Liar.

"For our conversation is in heaven;
from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."
