To Truly Love People You Cannot Fear Them

Over the past year or so these thoughts in my head from the Lord have really helped me as I figure out who I am, what I’m going to do and how to not give people a power that confuses my calling. I hope these are helpful to someone else also.

*To minister to people you have to love them first, but to truly love people you cannot fear them.

*If you want to use your gifts to bless people you cannot do it for people—you have to do it for God.

*Competition and comparison in the Church are the results of an identity crisis. For the Church to be productive she has to know who she is, which is not found in what she does.
