Vessel Who Said Yes

I’m just a vessel who said yes.

That’s what God taught me in 2017 as He wrecked fear after fear and showed me how in control He is and how in control I’m not. For as warm rays after cold rain, like a father wiping tears away from his child’s eyes, molding purpose from pain—that’s how God comes. That’s how He came to me. This year was the beginning of many things. It was also a time of healing as there were lies that finally lost though some linger still. I'm a bit of a mess, friends. A work underway no doubt but in the process I’ve found peace and can say this with confidence: In Jesus disappointment cannot be found. And fullness of joy cannot be missed.
