You Don't Have to Imagine This

So much of what the Bible speaks of we can only imagine. Standing before the Red Sea with Moses. Walking with Jesus through Jerusalem. As Bart Millard famously reminds us, we can only imagine eternity in heaven. But what if I told you one of the mightiest moves of God that the Bible speaks of doesn’t need to be imagined? That a restoration promise, a prophesied spiritual awakening, indeed, a holy homecoming, is happening in your day?

In Romans 11 Paul speaks of a great revival. Enormous spiritual riches for the whole world. In essence, something the Church, at that point in history, could only imagine. But something we no longer need to. And it all was dependent on one key factor: the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel.

Don Finto, in his book Your People Shall be My People shares, “Seventy percent of those who have come to faith since the birth of Zionism, or over 50 percent of those who have ever come to faith, have come since the founding of the state of Israel in 1948” (p.45, emphasis mine).

Israel’s physical restoration as a nation has led to the beginnings of her spiritual restoration, the true catalyst for world revival. One for Israel Ministry can testify saying, “When the State of Israel was established in 1948, there were only 23 Messianic Jewish people in the country. Today, there are more Messianic congregations in Israel than reformed and conservative synagogues combined.”

And how does this restoration effect all nations?

Remember the words of Paul the Apostle: “Again I ask: Did they [the Jews] stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. But if their transgression means riches for the world and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring?” (Romans 11: 11-12, emphasis mine).

This is biblical prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes.

"...over 50 percent of those who have ever come to faith, have come since the founding of the state of Israel in 1948."

World revival is underway in the secret places of the human heart because of God’s faithful covenant with the nation of Israel, through whom all nations are blessed.

See and behold your day, body of Believers. This is the life from the dead God promised us (Romans 11:15). And you no longer need to only imagine it.
